Delivery
Parcels are posted using a tracked service by one of Rusty Roosters preferred Courier providers. The courier used is dependant upon location of the recipient and weight
For UK sales, the courier is typically myHermes (who aim to deliver with 5 days), larger items are sent with TNT (24hr or 48hr delivery), palleted items are delivered by Pallet Force.
Charges are dependant upon the overall weight of the package and typically range from £3.50 to £15.00, with pallet deliveries charged at aprox £40.00.
Ready made items are normally posted within three days from receiving payment. Bespoke pieces are posted once they are completed.
Please note, Rusty Rooster is not responsible for any postal delays out of our control, industrial or weather delays or custom delays and please consider any busier times of the year such as Christmas.
Any postal issues, customs/import taxes or other charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Items not arrived
Parcels despatched within the UK should arrive within 7 business days. Please contact us if your item has not arrived within this time, so that we may review the tracking data.
A compensation claim with the courier MyHermes, for lost parcels must be logged within 28 days of the despatch date. Therefore in order for us to register the claim in time, we require you to inform us of the lost parcel no later then 25 days after the despatch notice is issued.
Refunds & Returns Policy
Ready made items
Changed your mind?
To cancel and return your 'ready made' purchase, you must do so within 14 days of receipt.
When returning the item all goods must be in their original packaging and unused so it can be re-sold at a later date. It is the customers responsibility to cover the cost of returning the item/s to us (unless damaged/faulty see below). We also require you to obtain proof of posting the return to us (receipt) to the address below. Rusty Rooster cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged during transit.
Once we receive the unwanted goods, we will refund the purchase price and the standard postage charge for that product
Please note, if there is visible handling of the item/and or damage, then we reserve the right to refund at a reduced rate.
Faulty/Damaged goods?
In this instance we ask you to please contact us first. You must do so within 14 days of receiving the goods and must include a photo of the problem.
If we need you to return the item to us, at the address below, we will cover the cost of doing so however we ask you to obtain proof of postage (receipt) and also send the faulty item back to us in the original packaging and using the same method of postage.
If your item returns to us meeting these conditions then you will receive your refund within 14 days.
Bespoke items
Rusty Rooster cannot offer refunds/returns on items which have been tailor made to your specifications. We ensure items are made to your requirements and images are sent to you for your approval before the items are created.
Refunds on bespoke items will only be issued if the item arrives damaged. See policy instructions above
