New Year – New Garden Art Ideas
Well what a busy few months we have had, this Christmas was our best yet!
Sales were Up. Reviews were fabulous!
But our stores are looking a little empty, and so Steve is now busy in the workshop cutting, cutting and more cutting.
Note to self: We must consider getting him a heater for the workshop! (That or some extra thermals).
As for me, (tucked up in the warm office), as this is our quite time, it is chance for me to organise for the year ahead and to start to think about new designs for 2019.
Wedding Season? What Wedding Season?
At this time of year, it appears many businesses selling on Etsy are preparing for the ‘Wedding Season’. In the first instance I decided that Rusty Rooster didn’t have anything to offer, but upon reflection, I’ve decided that we could create wedding names plaques.

But of course, before we can offer such things in our shop. we need to make some examples and photograph them – so rather than creating some random pieces, with random names and random dates (that would then be destined for the scrap heap), we have decided to offer a FREE GIVEAWAY via our Facebook page.
Hares, Greyhounds and Fishermen
So what else have we in store for 2019….
Well, Steve has just made a GREYHOUND garden decoration, he stands at over 70cm tall, so almost life-size.
Plus he has been busy welding up our latest HOME DECOR offering, a BOXING HARE set, that will look great on a shelf or mantle.
And I am currently finishing off a wall hanging design incorporating a fisherman and a woppa of a CARP.
Beyond that……I have a note book full of ideas for the next big Rusty Rooster idea, lets hope we can build upon the success of two popular designs made in November – our BUMBLE BEE and TWIN ROBINS…time will tell!
